Urgent Road Closure
WILTSHIRE COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that on 17th June 2026, the following length of road shall be closed to all traffic in the interests of public safety to enable Wessex Water Services to carry out urgent mains leak repairs and other associated works.

Urgent Closure of: C247 (Part), Heddington
WILTSHIRE COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that on 17th June 2026, the following length of road shall be closed to all traffic in the interests of public safety to enable Wessex Water Services to carry out urgent mains leak repairs and other associated works.
C247 (Part), Heddington; from outside the property known as ‘Foxleaze Barn’ for approximately 120m in a Southerly direction. Alternative route: via C247 (unaffected length) – Junction Broads Green East To Junction At Stockley – Broads Green – A3102 – A4 – C247 (unaffected length) and vice versa.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
These works will commence on 17th June 2026 and are anticipated to be required for 3 days. This Notice will have a maximum duration of 5 days.
